Message from Chris
2016 was a tremendous year! Around our staff, we called it a Year of War because we wanted to be “good soldiers” for Jesus & take new ground with the gospel (2 Timothy 2:3). One of the most exciting things that happened was getting to send our first team of long-term missionaries to Thailand! It’s amazing that our church is now sending our own people to take the gospel to places where many people haven’t ever heard about Jesus. In 2016, we saw many people commit their lives to Christ, get baptized, and begin taking next steps with Jesus. I just want to thank all of you who served & gave so that all of this can happen. We couldn’t do it without you! I can’t wait to see what God does in 2017!

Note
We started praying for 10,000 in 10 years right as the church began and most of us were pretty sure it was impossible. We just knew with God, all things are possible. Well, he’s done it again. Just 9 years in and we’ve already had 12,000+ people indicate they were committing their lives to Christ!

For the City
Local Mission Partners & Community Impact
We partnered with 30 non-profit organizations in Lubbock impacting the homeless, foster care, adoption, single parents, at-risk youth, underserved schools and neighborhoods, incarcerated, senior citizens, trafficking, impoverished families, and crises pregnancies. We partner with them because we believe in the work they are doing, and we believe that so much more can be accomplished when we work together. By partnering with those who are already out in the community, it helps to expand our resources. Our impact is multiplied!

People in Phase 1 and Phase 2* who are training to potentially go long-term to the Nations |
* Phase 1 and Phase 2 are the primary components of our mobilization process. eLife's mobilization process is designed to train and prepare people to go long-term to the nations to plant churches in unreached people groups.
Phase 1 groups are for people that have, above all, a passion for Jesus. That passion spills over into a passion for His Kingdom and for being biblically strategic in our efforts to complete the Great Commission. In Phase 1 you will increase your knowledge of Scripture and your understanding of multiplication and missions. You will fellowship and pray with others in a unique missional community and be held accountable to spiritual disciplines and ministry activities.
